Night Riding, East Coast to Mt Faber... |

Just came back home from the night riding yesterday. Feel so tired and sleepy. I am going to blog this real quick cause I really want to go and sleep.
I went to Kang Jie house before 7pm to meet up with Kang Jie, Kemund, Bing Chao, Wei Wen, Wei Xiong and Xiong Wei. Bing Chao and Kang Jie cab to find Leong Cheng cause he was really late and we scare the shop will be close soon. So the rest of us cab to East Coast Park and rent our bicycle.
It has been awhile since I last night riding. My last riding was from Seng Kang to Tuas. That was a really very very good achievement for me. This time, it is a bit different. We rent a bike for $13 and we plan to cycle from East Coast to Sentosa.
We rented our bike at about 9pm and we went to the coffee shop nearby to eat something 1st. It was raining by then. It was so cold out there and wet out there. We got a dirty start and wet start. We waits for the rain to get smaller then we start to cycle to our destination.
Wei Xiong took the lead and the rest follow. We set off too early and the traffic is still very heavy. So many cars out there. There was 1 point where we get seperated at Geylang. I have been split into 3 groups due to the heavy traffic. But in the end, we meet up and we stick close together so that we never get lost again.
We cycle to Esplanade and we rest there for a while. We saw the National Day Parade place. It was really small and can only can hold a limit of people. Not as big that I thought but the stage was filled with colourful lighting. We had enough rest and we set off once more.
Wei Xiong is really amazing. He was like a human map. He knew all the route and where to go. Next time if I am lost, I shall call him and ask.
Finally, we reach Harbour Front. We didn't went into Sentosa cause we had to pay to go in. A long long time ago, I cycled with my friends into Sentosa without paying. I guess it was still early when we reach there.
We went to Harbour Front Center, Cheers and have some snacks there. Some are tired and went to sleep. We spent a long time slacking there. Lucky no one come and chase us away.
We change plan and we went to Mount Faber. I had never been there before. I don't really know what the place is like. I wasn't a Mountain actually. It was just a little hill. Haha... But the slope of the hill was really steep. We had a hard time cycling up all slope. In the end, Xiong Wei and I was the only 2 person who had successfully cycle up the killing slopes.
The view was beautiful... "No matter how ugly the place is I will still said its beautiful cause it is really hard to get up there." =P There is a small Melion up there at Mt Faber. Other then that, nothing much special. We rest there for a very long time. We even try some stupid things like sitting on the person lap in a circle. We didn't manage to make it though.
After that was the most fun part. THE REWARD FOR EVERY RIDER!!! A long down slope!!! YeePee... The slope is quite dangerous though. Our speed was so fast and the wind blowing in our faces is just too fantastic... Hahaha... =DDD
We left Mt Faber and return to East Coast. Returning to East Cosat was much more easier. The traffic is lesser and the road belongs to us. Haha... We didn't stop that much returning back. It always happen when returning. Returning back to where you come from is much more faster.
But something really funny happen when we return. We were all so tired and i don't know how the hell did Wei Xiong bang into a car right infront of him. He was tired and he was cycling facing down. He doesn't notice that a black car is parking infront of him. I was right behind him looking at somewhere else too. When I turn my head to the front, I quickly shouted at him but 'it was all too late...' He had bang onto the back of the car. Lucky no one was around and we quickly flee. LOL...
We reach East Coast in no time. We were all there waiting for the sunrise. But in the end, I can't share this special moment with my buddies because of the cloudy sky. But never mind. I had a fun time today. All of them was sleeping while waiting for the bicycle shop to open. We quickly return our bike once it start open. We bus-ed home and most of us fell asleep.
I am so glad that I had reach home and so glad that I had complete this blog cause I got to sleep. I usually like to blog once I had reach home. I am afraid that I might miss out something if I went to sleep before I blog. But sometimes when I am sleepy, my blog dosn't seems to be so interesting cause my mind wasn't funtioning well and I tend to rush at the back. Now I really want to go and sleep now... GD BYE~
